At GGPredict we have built a system for pairwise team comparison, which gives us probabilities of a win between any two teams in professional CS:GO. It is a simple system, not accounting for maps being played or whether the match is taking place on LAN or online. It looks at team players' statistics and their recent performance taking into account opponents' strength and tournament level. We assign different weights to all the factors in the model and optimize it to achieve the best predictive r

Pick'Em Challenge Hype! We simulated the Play-In stage over 200,000 times and found out which team has the biggest chance to advance to the main event.

At GGPredict we have built a system for pairwise team comparison, which gives us probabilities of win between any two teams in professional CS:GO. It is a simple system, not accounting for maps being played or whether the match is taking place on LAN or online, but the results are still significantly better than in the case of bookmaker odds and other most simple predictive systems. It looks at team players’ statistics and their recent performance taking into account opponents' strength and tour

What's the average damage dealt to teammates by each player per round on each Steam rank?

Intentional team damage is a serious problem among all ranks in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. We decided to analyze how much team damage players make among all steam ranks. From Silver I to Legendary Eagle Master the amount of team damage decreases significantly for about 0.2 health points per player. What’s interesting, for the two highest ranks in CS:GO, Supreme Master First Class and The Global Elite, the number of team damage increases. We expect that with the ranks increase, the numbe

What's the average round time among FACEIT and Steam players? We have analyzed over 500.000 matches of GGPredict's users to find it out

What's the average round time among CS:GO FACEIT and Steam players? We have analyzed over 500.000 Counter-Strike matches of GGPredict's users to find what's the average cs:go round time. Looking at the chart we can see a sine wave. Players, with a low rank at Counter Strike Global Offensive are more willing to rush with no plan for the game and end the round faster. With the rise of the ranks, we see that players are playing more slowly, with a focus on gaining more and more map areas. From L

How many rounds does it take to win a CS:GO match?

Analysing the average number of rounds across platforms and ranks we immediately see that in general the higher the performance level, the longer the game. As players progress with their skills they are less prone to be dominated and (in case of MM games) stumble into a smurf. While playing on Silver level, very one-sided score lines are a frequent view, which doesn't happen that often on e.g. Legendary Eagle where players tend to come prepared for games and be able to win at least some rounds.
