As always, we analyzed the tournament in 5 aspects of the game: flash effectiveness, entry frags, sniper rifles usage, damage dealers, and distance covered. The undisputed king of the damage was definitely NAVI Junior star - m0NESY. He was ahead of the competition by 0.2 kills per round more and 23 damage per round more. He was also the only player, who had more than 1.0 kills per round and more than 100 dmg per round. Will he become the future of NAVI and will they dominate everyone with both

Intentional team damage is a serious problem among all ranks in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. We decided to analyze how much team damage players make among all steam ranks. From Silver I to Legendary Eagle Master the amount of team damage decreases significantly for about 0.2 health points per player. What’s interesting, for the two highest ranks in CS:GO, Supreme Master First Class and The Global Elite, the number of team damage increases. We expect that with the ranks increase, the numbe
This week we decided to analyze future-pro players matches from GGPredict to find out what’s the percentage of shots taken when seeing an opponent. According to our analysis, FACEIT players decide to take rifle shots more often when they don't see an enemy. Most of those shots are scans through the smokes and walls, and shots, that were taken while they are flashed. What’s worth to mention, FACEIT players throw more flashes, which also blinds enemies for much longer than Steam players. We ha
This week we decided to find out what are the chances of completing an ace. We analyzed 238 359 GGPredict.io users’ matches, more than 7 000 000 rounds, to ensure that our calculations are relevant. On the first graph, you can see the percentage of having an ace in the specific round. According to the analysis, most of the aces happen during the pistol rounds. It’s also much harder to complete the ace during the gun rounds (for example in rounds 3 and 4 when we mostly see first gun rounds, the
The first lan since IEM Katowice 2020 has officially ended. Natus Vincere gave no chances to G2 Esports and won $400,000. They are also one win away from winning the INTEL Grand Slam title. According to our predictions before the tournament and before the play-offs, both NaVi and G2 had the biggest chances of winning IEM. This time, we decided to analyze all games of the teams, that advanced to the playoffs. On the graphs, you can clearly see who was the best player in the tournament. Ukr

What's the average round time among CS:GO FACEIT and Steam players? We have analyzed over 500.000 Counter-Strike matches of GGPredict's users to find what's the average cs:go round time. Looking at the chart we can see a sine wave. Players, with a low rank at Counter Strike Global Offensive are more willing to rush with no plan for the game and end the round faster. With the rise of the ranks, we see that players are playing more slowly, with a focus on gaining more and more map areas. From L
Analysing the average number of rounds across platforms and ranks we immediately see that in general the higher the performance level, the longer the game. As players progress with their skills they are less prone to be dominated and (in case of MM games) stumble into a smurf. While playing on Silver level, very one-sided score lines are a frequent view, which doesn't happen that often on e.g. Legendary Eagle where players tend to come prepared for games and be able to win at least some rounds.
Yesterday's evening was full of emotions, which were brought to us not only by the players of both teams, but also by the organizers of the Flashpoint tournament, who couldn't quite handle the problematic situation. Regardless of what kind of problems Ninjas in Pyjamas [https://ggpredict.io/csgo/teams/9] had with their internet connection and whether it actually made it impossible to play, what matters is that Anonymo [https://ggpredict.io/csgo/teams/2391] withstood the pressure and despite a v
Four-times major winners - device, dupreeh, and Xyp9x, hold the top three spots in the total earnings. Those players played on every major and earned 457,950$. Just after the legendary trio, we can find their teammates from Astralis - gla1ve and Magisk, who earned 424,350$ and 314,000$ in sequence. Fnx is the player, who earned the most money for the number of appearances during the Major tournaments. He won both tournaments, that he played in, and won 100,000$ during both of them. On the
Inspired by cadiaN's recent clutches against Gambit, we started looking at how the chances of successfully completing a round on each tournament map break down. To do so, we analyzed over 200,000 rounds in professional matches over the last two years. As you can see, they distribute differently on each map - clearly decreasing if a player was left alone against three opponents. Additionally, we asked kuben, coach of Mad Lions to comment from the perspective of one of the best coaches in the
Heroic's success in the EPL came after a great across-the-board performance from cadiaN, who was the most efficient AWPer in the whole tournament, but also led his team in damage dealt and entry K/D. The runner-ups, Gambit were carried more evenly by multiple members of their team, with Ax1Le topping the ADR and kills chart, Hobbit being among the best entry fraggers, and sh1ro taking the most sniper duties among all players in the event. On the other side of the scoreboards, we can see a disap
ESL Pro Series group A ended, now it's time to analyze who was the best sniper, damage dealer, entry fragger, who throw the best flashes, and who covered the most and the least distance per round. For the snipers' infographic - as a sniper, we count AWP, Scout, and both automatic snipers.
